James "Damien" Zdarko passed away peacefully on October 10, 2025, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease.
Born December 12th, 1949, to Joseph and Mary Zdarko in Titusville Pennsylvania. He was the fifth of seven children.
He proudly graduated from St. Joseph Academy in 1967. He served in the US Navy aboard the USS Shelton, doing two tours of combat in Vietnam.
He returned to begin a career in the Convenience Store industry, retiring in 2016 from Country Fair Inc.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Immaculate Conception where he was instrumental in getting the current Hot Sausage Stand going.
One of his favorite pastimes was going to "The Cottage" at Canadohta Lake, boating on the Pontoon and providing many Firework shows for the family.
Surviving are his wife Andrea (Henry) Zdarko and two children, James Jr. (Tonia) of Oakmont Pa, and Jennifer Zdarko of West Palm Beach FL.
Two grandchildren, Marina and James III. One Sister Zephyr of California and one brother Fred of North East PA. And many cherished nieces and nephews that fondly referred to him as "Uncle Dame".
He was preceded by his parents, two sisters, Mary Catherine and Pauline: brothers, Joseph and William.
A celebration of life will be held at St. Catherine cemetery in Titusville at a later time.
