Jan Harvanek, age 86 of Oakmont, passed peacefully on Monday May 20, 2024, at U.P.M.C. Magee Women's Hospital of Pittsburgh.  Daughter of the late Mildred and Frank Ruskewicz.  Loving mother of Cindy (late Edward) Hedderman, Gregory (Barb) Harvanek, and the late Chris Rae. Grandmother of Bryan.  Great-grandmother of Madison and Tristan.  Sister of the late Chick (surviving Regina) Ruskewicz.  Aunt of Felicia and Bradley.

Jan loved to knit, read, and listen to audio books.  She enjoyed going to the various centers around Oakmont and Verona.  Services and interment private at The Verona Cemetery in Oakmont.
