Jason Michael Nash, 51, of Plum Borough passed away peacefully on April 22, 2025, at St. Margaret Hospital surrounded by family after fighting a long, chronic illness. For those fortunate to know Jason, there was always hearty laughter and good memories when he was around.
A graduate of Central Catholic High School, the Pittsburgh community was very special to him. He would never pass up a gathering of friends for a Steelers game or a good hand of poker. And he so loved taking his sons to Kennywood Park, a frequent occurrence! After receiving his bachelor's degree from Gannon University, he returned home and earned his master's degree from Duquesne University where he was a part of the Resident Life staff for many years. He devoted his career to Molyneaux Tile & Carpet.
Jason was a very talented musician who loved to take the stage and entertain crowds with The Wild Geese. His voice was majestic and if an instrument had strings, he could play it beautifully.
He was so loved by his family and friends. Left to mourn his passing are his adoring sons Ben and Sean; devoted mother Christine Nash (late John Nash); loving brother and best friend Christopher Nash; aunts, uncles, and cousins. Jason was blessed with many wonderful friends, but none more special than Shalee Shumiloff, Frank Varrati, and Gina Kristonich.
His pride and joy were his sons. He enjoyed nothing more than to watch Sean take the stage, following in his footsteps. Jason's music legacy and sense of humor will live on through them.
There will be no visitation. Arrangements entrusted to the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., Oakmont.
