Jean M. Nevins, age 91 of Oakmont passed away peacefully on Sunday June 25, 2023.

She was the daughter of the late Carmela (Intorre) and James Palmieri.  Beloved wife of the late Kenneth E. Nevins.  Loving mother of Michele (Richard) Eckert and Frances Scatena.  Grandmother of Christopher, Sarah, and Benjamin Eckert.   Sister of the late Rose Mast, late Ann Presutti, late Mary Presutti, and the late Michael Palmieri.  Loving aunt of Betty Ann (Don) Florwick.

Jean was a member of St. Irenaeus Catholic Church in Oakmont and sang in the choir.  She enjoyed baking, crafting, music, and photography.  Most of all she loved her family and grandchildren.

Friends and relatives will be received at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., 421 Allegheny Ave., Oakmont, PA 15139 on Thursday June 29, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.  A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday at Holy Family Parish- St. Irenaeus Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Deer Creek Cemetery, Cheswick.  The family extends their sincere gratitude to Heartland Hospice for their wonderful care for their mother.
