Jill Brozek, age 93 of Penn Hills formerly of Swissvale, passed away peacefully on Thursday May 9, 2024.  Born on September 18, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Clotilde (Brigliadora) and Alessandro Catanzano.  Beloved wife of the late Bernard J. Brozek.  Companion of the late Charles "Bo" Abbott.  Loving mother of Bernard (Francine) Brozek and Gary (Lisa) Brozek.  Special Nana of Bernie (fiancée Kristin Myers) Brozek, Caitlin (Brendan) Bartko, Christopher Brozek.  Great-Nana of Olivia Grace and Kodi Noel. Sister of the late John Catanzano, Frank (late Gladys) Catanzano, Rose (late Joseph) Cecere, and Emily (late Rudy) Tessitore. Loving aunt of many nieces, nephews, and cousins, and survived and pre-deceased by many Brozek family members.

After high school, Jill worked at Union Switch and Signal; after marrying she worked at Gordon's Furniture in Penn Hills and finally retiring from the Municipality of Penn Hills.  Jill was a classical pianist and attended Carnegie Tech, now Carnegie Mellon University.

The family is extremely grateful for Jill's caregivers Donna, Beverly, and Debbie over the past several years. A special thank you to her niece and goddaughter, Jan for all her love and dedication over the years.

Friends and relatives will be received on Tuesday May 14, 2024, from 2 - 8 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC. at 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont, PA 15139.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday May 15, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family Parish - St. Joseph Catholic Church, 825 2nd. St. Verona, PA 15147.  Interment to follow at All Saints Braddock Catholic Cemetery.
