Joan Patricia Roth, age 83 of Verona, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her daughter's home on Sunday February 9, 2025.

She was the daughter of the late Robert and Dorothy Holmes.  Beloved wife of the late Donald Roth who preceded Joan in death in 2019.  Loving mother of Dianna (Steve) Vandall of Plum, Donald Roth, Jr. of Verona, and Kathy (Justin) Pizzella of O'Hara TWP.  Grandmother of Nicole (Nate) O'Leath, Samantha Meckel, Corey (Sarah) Adams, Donald Roth, Kristopher Pizzella, Lia Pizzella, and Jacob Vandall.  Great-grandmother of Andrew, Easton, and Connor.  Sister of the late Barbara (late Joseph) Saxinger, late Linda (late Jack) Halloran, late Bobbie (late Wayne) Knox, and the late Willam (late Karen) Holmes.   Sister-in-law of the late Richard (late Marilyn) Roth.  Also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Joan was the matriarch of her family who took exceptional care of her siblings, children, and grandchildren.

Joan was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Verona.  She served her community as a member of the Ladies Auxillary of the Verona Volunteer Fire Department for decades, serving as former Treasurer and President.  She also worked at Casale's Rivers Edge and the Oakmont Bakery over the years.

She loved her family, card club, and her animals of which she had many.  She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Friends and family will be received on Tuesday February 11, 2025, from 6-8 p.m. and on Wednesday February 12, 2025, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., at 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont, PA 15139.  A blessing service will be held on Thursday February 13, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.

Interment to follow at St. Jospeh's Cemetery in Verona.
