Joanne Herrmann

Joanne Herrmann, age 85 of Fox Chapel, passed away surrounded by family on Monday June 1, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Sara and Albert Brunner. Beloved wife of Eugene Herrmann, Jr. Loving mother of Dana A. Friday and Eugene (Heather) Herrmann, III. Grammy of Anne, Megan, Sara, Kate Friday, Eugene IV, Jack, and William Herrmann. Sister of Karen (Ray) Schneider, the late Mary Brunner, late Albert (late Rita) Brunner, and the late John (late Mary) Brunner.

Joanne was a devout follower of Christ and a devoted loving mother, grammy, and wife. She enjoyed playing tennis in her free time, exercising, and playing golf with her husband Gene. She was a member of the Christ Child Society and also volunteered at the Clothes Line until she was too ill to go. She sang in the church choir with Gene. Joanne was a dedicated friend to many, a giving person, and always had a smile on her face. She was extremely forgiving and taught her family to love God and one another

Friends and family will be received on Thursday June 4, 2026, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., at 421 Allegheny Ave., Oakmont PA 15139.

A funeral service will be held on Friday June 5 at 10 a.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Rev. David Rike officiating, 1610 Powers Run Rd., Pgh., PA 15238. Everyone please meet at the church.
