Joe Saflin, 92 of Oakmont, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday morning of Easter weekend March 30, 2024.

Beloved husband of the late Mary Saflin of 49 years; loving father of Josie Zischkau and Nicholas (Melanie) Saflin; Pappy of Kelsey Zischkau and Forrest Zischkau. Brother of Nick (Josephine) Saflin and Mary (Saflin).

Joe loved telling stories about the old country and was very proud of his Croatian heritage.  Joe loved gardening and would often be seen in his Archie Street yard in Oakmont.

Friends and relatives will be received at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES INC., 421 Allegheny Ave., Oakmont, PA 15139 on Monday April 1, 2024, from 3-8 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday April 2, 2024, at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Parish - St. Irenaeus Catholic Church of Oakmont. Interment to follow at Twin Valley Memorial Park.
