HODGSON, John Pearce, M.D., 93, died January 10, 2024. Husband of the late beloved Virginia L. Hodgson.

Proud graduate of the University of Pittsburgh Medical School. As the second heart specialist in history to join the medical staff at McKeesport Hospital, "Doc" served many years as Chief of Cardiology. He treated generations of patients and trained and mentored hundreds of medical residents.

The family invites friends to attend a 1:00 p.m. inurnment at Fox Chapel Presbyterian Church on Friday, April 26, 2024, followed by a 1:30 p.m. memorial service and reception.
