Joseph C. Robinson, Sr. 83 of Cheswick passed away, Wednesday evening, October 16, 2024, in St John Specialty Care Center, Mars surrounded by his loving family.

He was born September 14, 1941, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Joseph A. and Olive H. (Logan) Robinson.

Joseph is survived by a daughter, Denise L. Baer and her husband Rick of Cheswick; a son, Joseph C. Robinson, Jr. and his wife Erin of Bethel Park; three Grandchildren, Helayna Baer, Cassandra Robinson, and Angelia Robinson: and a sister, Patricia T. Kish of Pittsburgh.

In addition to his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by his wife, Frances J. (Signore) Robinson, a daughter, Kathleen Robinson, a brother John (Jack) Robinson and a sister Geraldine A. Wright.

A veteran of the US Navy, Joseph was a dedicated mechanic and autobody repairman for over 40 years. Joseph was a unique and creative individual with an engineering mind and a passion for finding solutions to everyday problems. He loved to tinker and rig up quick fixes on the economical side.

He found joy in doo-wop music, motorcycles, sports, car races, and enjoyed a surf and turf dinner accompanying a glass of Moscato.  He was known to show up just in time for a holiday dinner at his son's or daughter's home but never missed one!

Joseph truly enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and siblings, Patsy, Jack and Gerry.  He especially enjoyed living in Jacksonville, Florida with his brother Jack after his retirement.

Friends and family will be received on Sunday, October 20, 2024, from 2 - 4 p.m. and 6 – 8 p.m.  with a blessing service Monday, October 21, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., at 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont, PA 15139.  A Chapel service will follow at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Millville.

In Lieu of Flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, In Memory of Joseph C. Robinson, Sr.
