Joseph J. Skwortz, Sr., 71, of Harmarville, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024. He was born to the late Elizabeth (Geiser) Skwortz and James Skwortz. Joe is survived by his beloved partner Marian (Zarnich) Skwortz, and remembered as the loving father of Joe Jr. (Kelly), Jim, Gene (Marilyn), and Ben (Lisa) Skwortz. He is survived by his sister, Patricia (Butch) Johns and his grandchildren: Riley, Shea, Mattie, Mallory and Sylvia.

Joe proudly served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War. He had a passion for the outdoors, finding joy in activities such as hunting, fishing, and biking.

Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance on Saturday, March 30, 2024, from 2-5 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., located at 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont, PA 15139. A burial with military honors will follow later in the week at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Bridgeville.
