JOSEPHINE BELTRAME
On February 2, 2026, Josephine, 96, passed away peacefully. Beloved daughter of the late Carlo and Ada Dozzi Beltrame, devoted sister to the late Floyd Beltrame and loved by many cousins and friends. Josephine was an active member of the Penn Hills Senior Center on Jefferson Road for over 30 years before moving to the Willows at the Presbyterian Senior Care in Oakmont.
She participated in the many craft classes and activities provided by the Center. Josie loved hand painting ceramic figures and enjoyed giving them as gifts to her friends and cousins for special occasions and holidays. She was also a member of the Penn Hills Quilting Group for over 30 years. After the Penn Hills Senior Center reopened from COVID quarantine, Josie began working on a quilt using the Knot quilting technique. Unfortunately, she had to move away from the Center before completing her lap quilt. But her friends in the Quilting Group lovingly finished the quilt and presented it to her. The Center meant a great deal to Josephine. The members and staff were her family. Josephine’s quiet presence and sweet smile will be missed by many.
Friends and relatives will be received on Friday February 6, 2026 from 10 a.m. until prayers of transfer at 10:45 a.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES INC., at 421 Allegheny Ave., Oakmont PA 15139. A Mass of Christian Burial will then be held at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Parish- St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Verona.
Private interment at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
