Karen S. Basel age 75 of Oakmont passed away unexpectedly at home on Monday April 29, 2024.

Daughter of the late Belva and Ershel Tate.  Beloved wife of the late Michael Basel.  Loving mother of Michael (Jen) Basel, Kathy Taylor, and Tammy (Chad) Handwerk.  Grandmother of Devin, Sena, April, Phillip, Zabrena, Hannah, Chris, and Genevieve.  Great-grandmother of 18.  Sister of the late Richard (late Frances) Tate, Jimmy (surviving Mary Ann) Tate, and Annabelle (late John) Savinda.

Karen was a diehard Pittsburgh Steelers fan.  She loved all animals and western movies.  She will be missed by all who knew her.
