IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kathy (Kathleen)
Bosco Kiser
October 2, 2025
Kathy (Kathleen) Bosco Kiser died on October 2, 2025. She was diagnosed with brain cancer on August 15, 2025. Kathy is preceded in death by her parents, Mario and Sallie Hajel Bosco. She is survived by Brian Kiser, her husband of 28 years, and Brian's son, Michael, as well as her other love, Willie, their dog. Kathy had four siblings: Mark Bosco, Cindy Bosco Watts (husband Michael Watts), Damien Bosco, and Tara Bosco Lynch, who mourn her loss and celebrate what Kathy brought to the table: her love of music, fashion, great old-time movies, and funny anecdotes of her life.
During her hospital stay, she was visited daily by numerous family members, and the staff made her feel like a special guest.
Kathy was a second mother to her sister Tara's children, Addison, Julia, and Noah. Loved dearly by her other nieces, Gerra Bosco, Jacqueline Watts Hayes, and Ava Bosco, and nephews Christopher Watts and Jacob Bosco. Great nephew, Mario Watts, and nieces, Natalie Watts and Falen Bosco-Sade, along with her close relations with Barbara Bosco Ludwig, Gina Capriotti, Donna Bosco, and Kyle Lynch, and all of the Bosco Family cousins, too many to name.
She graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Criminology. During the summer, she interned at the Allegheny County Sheriff's Department. After graduation, she worked as a store detective at a downtown department store. That is where her hilarious stories about her daily job began.
In 1984, Kathy moved to Boston. That is where she met her husband, Brian, while both were working in an IT department. Kathy was truly an influencer in the fashion world, with a keen eye for style and quality. She was a chosen one (in her eyes) to work at Yolanda's Cellucci Bridal Boutique, an upscale bridal salon in Massachusetts, among other shops.
Kathy and the family extend their utmost gratitude to the Etna and Shaler Police Department, specifically to Officers Bednar and Brandon Pilardi, as well as the fire and special departments. They put everything they had into finding Kathy, whose car had veered off the road into the woods, where it had been hidden for almost 10 hours. At nearly the twelfth hour, Officers Bednar and Pilardi, driving up and down the road, located the car. Truly exemplary, they never gave up.
