Laura Slobodnjak, age 97 passed away peacefully in her Harwick home on Friday evening January 19, 2024.

Daughter of the late Caroline (Trozzi) and Rosario Motta.  Beloved wife of the late Michael Slobodnjak, Jr.  Loving mother of Michael (Margie) Slobodnjak, Leslie Slobodnjak,  and Craig Slobodnjak.  Special Nana to Michael (fiance Jeremy) Slobodnjak.  Sister of the late Angeline (late Mike) Sternotti, late Al (late Kay) Motta, late Anthony (late Betty) Motta, late Mary (late Jack) Balestrieri, late Angelo (late Regina) Motta, and the late Frank (late Dorothy) Motta. Loving Aunt to many nieces and nephews.  Laura will be remembered as being devoted to her family and they were everything to her.

Friends and family will be received on Tuesday January 23, 2024, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.  at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC. 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont, PA 15139.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday January 24, 2024, at 10 a.m. at Guardian Angels Parish - Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church 1319 Low Grade Rd. Harwick, PA 15049.  Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Pittsburgh.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lower Valley Community Food Bank, 325 School St. Springdale, PA 15144.
