Linda A. Essed age 67 of Verona on Monday November 13, 2023, after over thirty years battling various health issues and cancer.

Loving daughter of John R. Houston and the late Janet P. (Josebeck) Houston.  Wife of Amhmmed A. Essed.  Loving mother of Amira, Adam, and Zac Essed.  Sister of Kristin (Mike) Regalski and the late Bobby Houston.  Loving Aunt of Cameron and Jesse and also survived by many cousins.

Linda loved music, movies, the color blue, traveling and family vacations.  She was kind, independent, a great cook, and will be remembered most for her infectious smile and one of the strongest people any of us knew.

Friends and relatives will be received at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC. 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont, PA 15139 on Tuesday, November 28th from 2-7 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Linda's name to The American Cancer Society.
