Mae M. Langford, age 74 of Verona passed unexpectedly on Tuesday morning May 23, 2023.  She was the daughter of the late Nellie (Vandergrift) Kearns and Louis Kearns.  Longtime partner of Thomas Hughes.  Loving mother of Jody (Christina) Kearns, Janelle (Jim) Whiteman, and the late Jennifer Langford.  Sister of Betty (Sam) Krutz, Vicky (late Dan) Burns, Jeanne (Jeff) Mellon, LuAnn Battista, Louie Kearns, and David Kearns.  Beloved grandmother to Latraya (Ken) Woods, Donnie Sippel, Benjamin Kearns, Ashley Sippel, Sara (Tom) Russell, Nikki (Justin) Srdich, Shawn (Rachel) Broadwater, Ryan Broadwater, Vanessa (Cory) Sakolsky, Dylan Whiteman, Sydni Whiteman, the late Hannah Kearns, and the late Corinna Kearns.  Gigi of Lavaeh, Everly, Kenny, Gabriella, Greyson, Memphis, Scarlett, Shea, and one (Ryker) on the way.  Mae was a breast cancer survivor and supported the Relay for Life, and most recently was at the Riverside Park event this past Saturday.  She loved dogs and was an avid Elvis fan.  For the past 5 years, Mae was recognized by her pink hair and headpieces that she wore, working and greeting customers as a receptionist at her sister's hair salon, Hair By Jeanne in Oakmont.  Above all she loved her kids, grand-kids, and great-grandkids and she will be missed dearly by all.  Friends and relatives will be received at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC. 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont, PA 15139 on Friday May 26 from 3-7 p.m. where a Celebration of Life will be held at 7 p.m. in the funeral home.  If desired, memorials may be made in Mae's name to The American Cancer Society or The Riverview Relay for Life, c/o Moochie Donatucci 420 11th St. Oakmont, PA 15139.
