Marilyn J. Honsperger, age 92 of Verona passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday October 10, 2023, surrounded by her daughters.

She was the daughter of the late Viola (Schultz) and Raymond Long.  Beloved wife of 58 years to the late Freddy Honsperger who predeceased Marilyn in 2009. Loving mother of Lee Anne (Peter) Bankaitis, Jill (George) Costic, and Gail (Jeff) Smoulder. She was the Gram of Russell, Eric (Kate), Jamie (Vlad), Danielle (Todd), Calio, Tyke, Leah (Michael), Adam, and Rachel. Also, the Great-Gram to 14.

Marilyn was a member of the Redeemer Church of Oakmont. She loved sewing and baking, cookies as her specialty.

Friends and relatives will be received at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont, PA 15139 on Friday October 13, 2023 from 3-8 p.m.  A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday October 14 at 10:30 a.m.  Interment to follow at Lakewood Memorial Gardens next to her husband.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Redeemer Church of Oakmont or The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
