Mary Jane Kelly, 101 of Oakmont, passed away Thursday morning, October 17, 2024, in UPMC St. Margaret, Pittsburgh.

She was born May 8, 1923, in East Brady, Pa a daughter of the late Vincent and Josephine (Amato) Barranco.

Mary Jane was a member of Holy Family Parish-St. Irenaeus Catholic Church, Oakmont, where she volunteered in numerous church events.  She was a proud and involved member of St. Francis Nursing School Alumni.

Mary Jane is survived by her 2 sons, Joseph L. Kelly II (Kathy Renee) of Southhaven, Miss, and John V. Kelly of Oakmont; her 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mary Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph L. Kelly, Sr.; her daughter, Mary Jo (Kelly) Orzechowski; her son Lee William Kelly and 7 brothers and sisters.

Friends and relatives will be received at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., 421 Allegheny Ave., Oakmont, PA 15139 on Monday, October 21, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.  A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday at Holy Family Parish- St. Irenaeus Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m.
