Mary Jo Peoples, age 86 of Oakmont passed away peacefully on Good Friday, April 18, 2025.  She was the daughter of the late Theresa and Phillip Boggio.  Beloved wife of the late Dale E. Peoples. Loving mother of Lisa (late Paul) Witkovitz, Kim (Jim) Kristufek, Stacy (Mark) Davanzati, and Erin (James) Premick.  Sister of the late Phillip (surviving Stephanie) Boggio. Sister-in-law of the late William A. (surviving Susan "Suzie") Peoples, late Marian (late Wayne) Altheide-Ritchey, and the late Lettie Eiler.  Grandmother of Brian (Jaclyn), Lindsay (Jeremy), Megan (Jesse), Katlyn, Ross, Marcus, Amanda, Alexis, and Brittany.
Great-grandmother of Camille, Tate, Arthur, Miles, and Theo.

Mary Jo loved the beach, swimming, gardening, and golfing.  She will be missed by her loving family and legacy she leaves behind.

Friends and family will be received on Monday April 21, 2025, from 1-7 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., at 421 Allegheny Ave., Oakmont, PA 15139.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday April 22, 2025, 10 a.m. at Holy Family Parish - St. Irenaeus Catholic Church in Oakmont.

Burial will be at The Verona Cemetery in Oakmont next to Dale.
