Mary Simone, age 98, of Pittsburgh, passed away peacefully Sunday morning November 10, 2024.

She was the daughter of the late Sarah and John Molloy.  Beloved wife of the late William M. Simone.  Loving mother of Marie (Tom) Aliberti, Debbie Traficante, Brian (Cindy) Simone, and Noreen (fiance James Ward) Simone.  Loving nanny of Lisa (Chuck), Frank (Kelly), Kimberly (James), John (Crystal), Sheena (fiance Josh), Christopher (Marissa), and the late Anthony.  Mary is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.  Sister of Peggy (David), and preceded in death by 6 siblings.  Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and also held a special affection for Nada.

Mary loved playing bingo, baking around the holidays, cleaning her home and keeping a clean home, and loved spending time with her family.

Friends and family will be received on Tuesday November 12, 2024, from 11 a.m. until blessing service at 1 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., at 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont, PA 15139.  Entombment to follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
