It is with sad hearts we announce the passing of our dear Mary Anne on Friday June 9, 2023 at age 78.

Her greatest joy was her beautiful and talented grandsons Teddy and Zack Ruffner.  Who along with their mother, Chris Crawford-Ruffner and husband Todd brought sunshine and light to her life.  Her daughter and grandsons kept her engaged and always made her feel like the luckiest lady to have them so close spending weekly visits.  She was blessed to be surrounded by such a dear friend as she had in Shawna and her husband Thomas Sharrar, who made her feel like the queen of the world.  She was loved and will be sadly missed by her niece Jamie Dale, her longest standing fan.  She has been preceded in death by her beloved husband Glenn Crawford, her brother Dan, her parents Jack and Alma Singer.  We are proud of her and loved her, most of all admired the fact she was able to live her life on her terms.  She never forgot anything about all of us she held in her heart, always there with a card or a call.  Her laugh was infectious, and we are going to miss her.

Mary Anne graduated from Beaver Falls High School and Clarion University.  She was an English teacher and then completed her Master's in Library Science at the University of Pittsburgh.  She then spent her career as a school librarian at Peabody High School.

Friends and relatives will be received at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC. 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont, PA 15139 on Wednesday June 14 from 10am-12 noon where a service will be held at 12 noon in the funeral home.  Interment to follow at Lakewood Memorial Gardens next to her husband, Glenn.
