William Francis Patrick McGrath, Age 89, of Oakmont, passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2023. He was the beloved husband of the late Janice Marie McGrath for 67 years. Remarkably, Bill and Jan died on the same day, one year apart, and their love story continues in heaven.

Loving father of Susan (Kevin) Landberg, Patricia (Michael) DeFreeuw, Eileen (the late Daryl) Mahlow, Colleen (Daniel) Hayes, James (Jennifer) McGrath, William (Mary Jo) McGrath II, Dorothy (the late Francis) Garrity, and Kathleen McQuillan. Grandfather of 26 and Great-Grandfather of 15.

He is survived by his brother John McGrath, and preceded in death by James McGrath, Joan Foy, and Mary Beauchamp. He and his wife Jan owned and operated Beauchamp Associates, along with his family.

Bill was an Air Force veteran, member of the Oakmont Lions Club and Friends of the Oakmont and Springdale Libraries. He was a talented artist, sharing his love for painting by giving lessons and gifting his many works of art.

Friends and relatives will be received during a memorial visitation on Friday, February 17, 2023 from 5-8:00 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023, 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Parish (St. Irenaeus Catholic Church, 387 Maryland Ave. Oakmont)
