April Joy (Kroll) McGregor, age 56, of Johnstown, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday April 8, 2023. She was the daughter of Judy Kroll and the late Richard Kroll, beloved wife of Kevin McGregor, proud and loving mother of Samantha Jo (Matt) Bradburn, Alexis Rae (Bill) Beckwith, and the late Madison Bradburn, and stepmother of Bella McGregor. April was a loving sister to Rick (Jolene) Kroll, Julie (Eric) Smith, and Randy Kroll. She was also a grandmother to Theodore David and Glory Jean Beckwith.
April enjoyed her career as a traveling nurse, with her masters in nursing education, working all over the country for different agencies. She enjoyed fishing, boating, camping, traveling, going to the casino, and shopping, with most of these hobbies from sun up to sun down. Most of all, she will be remembered as the best Gigi to her adoring grandchildren. She loved her role as a grandma to Theo and Glory. She was a fun and loving person who made friends everywhere she went. She will be truly missed by all her loved ones.



Friends and relatives will be received at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC. 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont PA, 15139 on April's birthday Sunday April 16 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will be Monday at 10 a.m. in the Funeral Home with Pastor Ray Streets officiating. Interment to follow at Plum Creek Cemetery.
