William J. Meyers, Jr., age 76 of Pittsburgh passed away unexpectedly on Thursday March 30, 2023.
He was the son of the late William J. and Sarah C. Viscomi Meyers. Beloved husband for 46 years to Anne C. Hordubay Meyers. Loving father of Julie Dice and her husband Dave of Pittsburgh, Brian Meyers and his wife Anne of Pittsburgh, Christie Hartman and her husband Philip of Burlington, KY, and Joseph Meyers of Pittsburgh. Proud Pappity to Regan, Alyssa, Rebecca, Summer, Luke, Rigel, Pierce, Cullen and Segin. Brother of Judy Isherwood of Pittsburgh, and the late Mary Ann Ziegler. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Bill was a longtime and faithful member of the St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Glenshaw.
He was a graduate of Penn Hills High School Class of 1964 and graduated with his Bachelor of Science in 1969 from Duquesne University. He was employed as a corporate tax director for various companies over a 40+ year career, retiring in 2016.

Bill was a member of the AICPA and TEI. He was a longtime Pittsburgh Steelers fan and 50+ year season ticket holder.
He loved to vacation in the Outer Banks with his family and spending his time with his grandchildren.

Friends and relatives will be received at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC. 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont, PA 15139 on Saturday, April 1 from 5-8 and Sunday April 2, from 1-3 and 5-7. Mass of Christian burial Monday April 3, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. St. Mary of the Assumption Church 2510 Middle Road Glenshaw, PA 15116. Entombment to follow at St. Mary of the Assumption Parish Cemetery, Glenshaw.
