It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the unexcepted passing of Michael Andrew Angerman, a loving husband, father, and friend, on June 19, 2025. He was 61 years old.
Mike graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1981. He received his undergraduate degree in Geology from the College of Wooster and his Master's degree in Hydrology from the University of Maryland. He was a registered professional geologist. He worked for the family business, the Baron Group, LP, for 21 years, before founding his own family business, JMM Resources, LLC in 2019. In addition to his work, he served on the board of directors of the Watson Institute for many years. Mike was dedicated to helping provide special education services to children with special needs and their families.
Mike leaves behind his beloved wife of 22 years, Jodi (Gaspersic), and their two sons, Ryan and Josh. He was a devoted family man whose love and care for his family were at the heart of everything he did. Survivors also include brothers Timothy (Valerie) Angerman and Douglas Angerman, four brothers-in-law, four sisters-in-law, nine nieces and five nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Thomas W. Angerman and Anne B. (Nancy) Angerman.
A man of many passions, Mike enjoyed the simple joys of life. He was an avid golfer who could often be found on the links of Oakmont Country Club. He also enjoyed skiing the slopes and bike riding trails throughout the United States. Mike was always ready for adventure and fun! He also had a deep love for travel, exploring new places with family and friends, and creating memories that will be cherished forever.
Known for his sharp sense of humor, infectious laughter, kind spirit and generosity, his unwavering support was felt by all those around him. Mike was the father who always put family first and the friend you could always count on. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
A memorial service will be held at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 378 Delaware Ave, Oakmont, PA 15139 on July 25, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Watson Institute at www.thewatsoninstitute.org
