Monte Williams, Jr., born on 12/26/1957, of Verona, Pennsylvania died unexpectedly on Monday, October 16, 2023. He was only sixty-five years old. He was the son of the late Betty (King) Adams and Monte Williams, Sr. and the loving brother of Denise King. He was well known throughout Allegheny County.

Monte spent thirty-two years working in the maintenance department of the Allegheny County Housing Authority before retiring in August 2022. He also owned a Pest Control Company. Monte was an entrepreneur, developing his own tabletop football game and various items and tools for his pest control company. Monte also wrote a book entitled "The Dust of the Ground. His company, M Williams Enterprises, sold his various pest control inventions.

Monte was a born again Christian. He became a member of Monroeville Assembly of God in the summer of 2004 but had attended there for at least twenty years before then. Monte played football in high school and college. He loved watching high school football games in person and on TV. He also loved to play the card game "Spades".

Monte was loved by many.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday November 4, 2023, at 11 a.m. in Monroeville Assembly of God Church 4561 Old William Penn Hwy., Monroeville, PA 15146.  Arrangements entrusted to the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., Oakmont.
