Patricia, "Pat," Gemellas (Wilson), 80, of Penn Hills, passed away peacefully at home on November 1st, 2023.
She was born in Cleveland, the daughter of the late Tom and Stella (Urban) Wilson. She is preceded in death by her sister, Hazel, nephew, Kevin, brother-in-law Dave, and in-laws Florence and Sam.
Pat is survived by the love of her life, John, the man who rescued her from the confines of Cleveland and brought her to the sprawling landscape of opportunity and delight, Pittsburgh. He was her devoted husband, best-friend and confidant of over 44 years. Pat and John were the epitome of the phrase "opposites attract", John was the mellow to her fiery intensity.
Her daughter, Annie, son-in-law Tim, whom she loved as her own, and her granddaughter, Eden, who knew her lovingly as "Gam,"' will miss her dearly. Gam and Eden spoke the same language and spent many days together playing, eating Oreos and laughing at ridiculous nothings.
Pat is also survived by her loving sister Margaret, "Peggy", caring and devoted sisters-in-law Rhoda and Denise, brother-in-law Donald, dear friends Jan, Millie, Julie, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, November 4th from 10am - 12noon at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC. 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont, PA 15139.
