Patricia A. Young, age 90 of Oakmont, passed away on Christmas Day morning, Monday December 25, 2023, at her daughter's home in Gibsonia.

Daughter of the late Valeria and Thomas Gaines.  Beloved wife of the late Donald J. Young.  Loving mother of Melinda "Mindy" (Edward) Stephany of Gibsonia and Donna (Young) Crawford of Oakmont. Grandmother of Michael Trabbold of Carnegie, Matthew Trabbold of Penn Township, and Lindsay (Joseph) Bujalski of Springdale.  Great-grandmother of Masyn and Marley Bujalski.  Sister of Kenneth E. Gaines of Verona.

Patricia was a member of St. Irenaeus Catholic Church in Oakmont.  She loved movies, dancing, going to the casino, and was known for her smile and laughter.

Friends and relatives will be received at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC. 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont, PA 15139 on Friday December 29, 2023, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.  A blessing service will be held at 8 p.m. in the funeral home with Sister Lynn Miller officiating.   Private burial at Plum Creek Cemetery next to her husband.
