Patrick Ricketts, age 67 of Verona, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday April 29, 2026.

Son of two mothers; one lost early and the other he had time to re-unite with; Anna Ricketts and B. Ricketts-Drodge-Garmer. Husband of the late Donna Ricketts. Father of Michael Ricupero. Pap of Mila, Olivia and Isabella. Brother of Douglas (Nancy) and Debbie (Larry). Sister/Aunt of Carol (late Butch), cousin of the late Raymond (surviving Fern), Carol Theresa, Bob, and Kyle.

He was a proud Army Veteran in the 82nd Airborne Division and also a police officer for the Verona Borough Police Department. Patrick was a man who was a jack of all trades and also very strong in his faith. Patrick and the family were so grateful to all of those who came to see and celebrate him last Saturday during his living wake life celebration. Patrick's resolve on positivity was unmatched through his diagnosis all the way until the end.

Friends and family will be received on Friday May 1, 2026 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., at 421 Allegheny Ave., Oakmont, PA 15139.

A funeral service will be held the following day, Saturday May 2, 10 a.m. in the funeral home Pastor Ron Breight officiating, followed by Army honors.

Interment at Allegheny Cemetery in Lawrenceville.
