Paula Tamburro Gent, age 64 of Verona, passed away peacefully surrounded by her caring and loving family on Sunday August 11, 2024.

She is the daughter of late Nick and Rose Tamburro.  Beloved wife of the late Gary Gent who preceded Paula in death in 1998.  Loving mother of Gary (Amanda Lavan) Gent, Anthony (Charleen Singh) Gent, and Juliana (Jordan Lilja) Gent. Sister of John (Linda) Tamburro, Milly (late Tom) Soisson, Diane (Jeff) Vescera, and Nick (Marybeth) Tamburro.  Paula is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Paula loved gardening, had an affection for chocolate covered almonds, and was a lover of all animals, especially her dog, Remo.  She could always be found at the center of family events and will be deeply missed by her large extended family who was so dear to her heart.

Friends and family will be received on Thursday August 15, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., at 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont, PA 15139.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday August 16, 2024 at 10 a.m. at Holy Family Parish - St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Verona.
