Joseph M. Powers, age 56 of Cheswick passed away unexpectedly on Friday March 24, 2023. He was the son of the late Loretta and Robert Powers. Beloved husband for 23 years to Donna (Barone) Powers. Loving father of Karen, Stacy, Josh (Melissa), and Johnny. Brother to Joyce Powers. Devoted Grandfather to Kenny, Brooklyn, Kamryn, Alex, Davina, Abriana, Alessio, and Amelia. Joe was a simple man, with simple hobbies which included NASCAR, attending car shows, building his wrist watch collection and taking a daily stroll on his motorcycle. Above all else, he loved his family and also enjoyed being around them. Joe leaves behind a standard in fatherhood that should be modeled, and that many children aren't blessed with, and the loyalty and love for this marriage that so many people long for.

Loss is not without sting and sting is not without love.

Friends and relatives will be received at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC. 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont, PA 15139 on Tuesday March 28 from 9-12 noon at which time a funeral service will be held with Pastor Jay Newland of Riverside Community Church. Interment to follow at Plum Creek Cemetery.
