Raymond "Chip" Roy Melle, age 89 of Verona, passed away peacefully on Monday morning December 9, 2024.

He is the son of the late Mary and Joseph Melle.  Beloved husband of Rose Marie Melle.  Loving father of Ronald (Madonna) Melle, Lynn (Donald) Kendrick, and the late Jill (surviving William) Klinko. Grandfather of Katherine, Richard, Mary Catherine, and Jacob. Great-grandfather of four.
Brother of the late Joseph (late Anna Mae) Melle.  Uncle of Marrianne Melle, Rob Mooney, and Amy Phillips.

Chip worked at Heavy and Highway Carpenter's Local 2274, repairing bridges across Pittsburgh and vicinity.  He celebrated 50+ years of service there.  He was an avid flea marketer.  He liked to collect music especially old Jazz records.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 25, 2025, from 12 to 4 p.m. at the Verona Eagles.
