Regis W. McGill, Jr., age 68 of Trafford passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday December 2, 2023.

He was the son of the late Mary (O'Shea) and Regis W. McGill, Sr.  Beloved fiancé of Ann Marie Craig.  Former spouse of Jean Anzelone.  Loving father of Regis (Samantha) McGill, III, Tina McGill and Samantha Anzelone.  Brother of Kevin (Jennifer) McGill, Lorraine (Dominic) Zappa, James (Sharon) Dunbar, and Maureen Scullon-Dunbar.  Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Rege was a parishioner of Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church of Murrysville.  He enjoyed the outdoors and was active in hunting, fishing, and golfing.  Rege was a very respected Chef, competing in culinary competitions and working in Miami, New York, and Pittsburgh. Rege would have said one of his greatest accomplishments was the assistance and support he provided his friends. As a friend of Bill for over 30 years, he helped countless people find sobriety and supported them through their journey. He would even host an annual Friends of Bill Cookout at Kennywood on the Fourth of July to provide everyone a safe place to celebrate the holiday.

Friends and relatives will be received at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC. 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont, PA 15139 on Wednesday December 6, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.  A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday December 7 at 10 a.m. at Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, 4202 Old William Penn Hwy., Murrsyville, PA 15668 - EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH.  Private interment for the family at Penn Forest Natural Burial Park, Verona.
