Richard "Rick" James Genovese

Richard "Rick" James Genovese, age 62 formerly of Penn Hills, passed away peacefully on Friday September 25, 2026. He was the son of the late Catherine and Frank Genovese. Brother of Frank (Jan) Genovese and the late Rosemarie (surviving Hank) Lach. Uncle of Renee (Scott), Rachel (Donald), Steven, Adrienne (Michael), and Gregory (Erica). Also survived by several great nieces and nephews.

Friends and family will be received on Thursday October 1, 2026 from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., at 421 Allegheny Ave., Oakmont PA 15139. A blessing service will be held at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Rick will be buried with his parents at St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
