Richard M. Giovanetti "The Rock", age 86 of Oakmont, passed away peacefully on Saturday October 26, 2024.  Son of the late Mary and Michael Giovanetti.  Beloved husband of the late Sharon Giovanetti.  Loving father of Richard (Suzanne) Giovanetti, Ron (Lori) Giovanetti, Celeste (Brian) Burke, and the late Michael (surviving Patricia) Giovanetti.  Nono of Nicholas, Chloe, Monique, David, Richard, Jennifer, Gabriel, Matthew, and Olivia.  Great-Nono of Audrey and Bella.  Brother of the late Albert (late Patricia) and the late Rose Marie (late Dominic) Lombardozzi.

Rock was a member of the Oakmont Volunteer Fire Department for 35 years, Oakmont High School Alumni, and a graduate of Point Park University.  He was the fleet service lead at U.S. Airways during his 30+ year career there.

Friends and family will be received on Wednesday October 30, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., at 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont, PA 15139. A Fireman's service will be held at 7 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, October 31, 2024 10 am. at Holy Family Parish - St. Irenaeus Catholic Church in Oakmont.
