Rita Bucci

Rita Bucci, 86 of Oakmont passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday July 14, 2026 surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of the late Lina and Rocco Antonecchia. Beloved wife of the late John Bucci. Loving mother of John Bucci, Christine Shafer, and Joseph (Julie) Bucci. Loving Nonne of Tori, Noah, Katie, Christian, and Jonathan. Sister of Romeo , Wilma (late Mario), the late Joseph, Pasquale, and Nick Antonecchia. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Rita was a devout Catholic with an unbreakable faith. She was a selfless and caring woman with a heart of gold. She was well loved by her friends and family and will be greatly missed by all.

Friends and family will be received on Sunday July 19, 2026 from 1-5 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., at 421 Allegheny Ave., Oakmont PA 15139.

A blessing service will be held on Monday July 20, 2026, 10 a.m. in the funeral home followed by burial at Plum Creek Cemetery next to her husband.
