Robert "Bob" B. Stoner, age 92 of New Kensingston and formerly of Verona, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Sunday morning November 17, 2024.  He was the son of the late Margaret and Christie Stoner.  Beloved husband of 67 years to Martha (Thaner) Stoner.  Loving father of Bob Stoner and Suzanne (Sean) Knapp.  Pap-Pap of Kenzey (Ethan), Taylor, Jameson, Preston, and Landon.  Brother of the late Christie (late Mert) Stoner.  Also survived by sister-in-law Margie, and nieces and nephews.

Bob graduated from Verona high school 1950. His loving kindness, humility, and impeccable integrity showed in all parts of his life. He worked for Ingall's Ironworks and was the local president of United Steelworkers of America for 10 years. He enjoyed playing golf, basketball, daily walks, and most importantly, spending time with his grandchildren.

Friends and family will be received on Tuesday November 19, 2024 from 5-8 p.m. and on Wednesday November 20 from 10 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., at 421 Allegheny Ave., Oakmont, PA 15139.  Interment to follow at The Verona Cemetery in Oakmont.
