Robert "Bob" E. Beresky, Sr., age 89 of Verona passed away peacefully Monday morning May 6, 2024.

Beloved husband of the late Rebecca O. of 54 years; dear father of Rosemary Beresky, Diana (Carl) Ansell, James (Jean) Beresky, and the late Robert E. Beresky, Jr.; brother of Mary (late Jerry) Bosle, and the late Dorothy, Ed, and Richard; grandfather of Jessica Davis, Randy Lingelbach, Veronica (Jon) Marney, Jennifer (David) Hall, Kristine (Patrick) Dobbins, and Nicole Schall; also 16 great-grandchildren.

Bob and Rebecca loved to travel together, and he was a dedicated caretaker to her for over 10 years when she became ill fighting lung cancer and battling through lung surgeries. Bob was a butcher at Giant Eagle for over 35 years. He loved all the Pittsburgh sports teams and was dedicated going to his church - Zion Lutheran and volunteering at their food bank.

Friends and relatives will be received on Wednesday May 8, 2024, from 5 - 7 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., at 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont, PA 15139.
