Richard J. Foster, 82 of Penn Hills passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Thursday January 15, 2026. He was the son of the late Katherine and John Foster. Beloved husband of Josephine (Ricciuti) Foster. Loving father of Richard (Leanne) Foster of New Castle and Jennifer (John) DeMann of Gibsonia. Grandfather of five; Jacob Timothy, Sarah Giuliana, John Anthony, Abigail Josephine, and Eleanor Jennifer.

Brother of Linda Foster. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Rich was a very dedicated and hard worker in his career. He was equally as devoted to his family life. His family meant more to him than anything in the entire world. He was a passionate Pittsburgh sports fan, especially the Steelers, up until the end. Rich was known far and near for his Steelers tailgates at the games as a season ticket holder for over 60 years.

Friends and family will be received on Tuesday January 20, 2026 from 4-7 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE INC., at 421 Allegheny Ave., Oakmont PA 15139.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday January 21, 11 a.m. at Holy Family Parish - St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Verona. Everyone please meet at the church.
