Robert Howard Isherwood, 89 of Wellsburg, WV and formerly Verona and Murrysville, PA; died peacefully on Tuesday, June 4, 2024.

Born on February 11, 1935, in Verona, PA a son of the late William and Grace (Schell) Isherwood.  In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by two brothers, William and David and his sister, Shirley Love.

Bob graduated from Verona High School in 1953 and went on to serve in the Navy Reserves.  He retired from Kopper's Research where he worked as a maintenance supervisor.  For many years they were members of the former St. Gerard Majella Catholic Church in Penn Hills, PA.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 69 years, Louise (Flajnik) Isherwood; loving daughters, Lisa and Tim Stover, and Susan and Joseph Mullenbach; his dear grandchildren, Jeremy and Halle Virgin; along with many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Private graveside services will be held in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Verona, PA.

Arrangements by Mullenbach Funeral Home at 669 Main St. Follansbee, WV and conducted by Burket-Truby Funeral Home at 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont, PA 15139.
