Robert John "Bob" Steinmeyer, age 80 of Carrick and formerly of Verona, passed away peacefully on Thursday November 14, 2024.  Son of the late Mary and Kilian Steinmeyer, Jr.  Beloved husband of Anne (Kolezynski).  Loving father of Daniel R. (Carissa) Steinmeyer and Brian M. (significant other Kelly Ventrone) Steinmeyer.  Brother of the late K. Paul (late Sue) Steinmeyer.  Brother-in-law of Maggie Hunter.  Uncle of Brett and Colin Hunter. Bob also leaves behind his beloved dog, Bolero.

Bob was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Verona, a member of the church choir, the Resurrection choir, a member of the Catholic Men's Fellowship Group, the Right to Life Group, and a coordinator at the Holy Family Parish Fish Fry. He loved to golf and fish in his spare time and recently in retirement.  Bob managed Village Inn restaurant in Verona for many years and was a former President of the Pittsburgh Central Catholic Viking Hockey Club.

Friends and family will be received on Sunday November 17, 2024 from  2-6 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., at 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont, PA 15139.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday November 18, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family Parish - St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Verona.

Private Interment to follow at St. John Vianney Cemetery, Carrick.
