Robert E. Schultze, Jr., age 81 of Verona passed away on Monday January 8, 2024, with his family by his side.

Son of the late Elsie "Sis" and Robert E. Schultze, Sr.  Son-in-law of the late Frank and Gaynelle Roginski.  Beloved husband of 61 years to Gayle (Roginski) Schultze.  Loving father of Kimberly (Raymon) Suchevich and Dr. Robert (fiancé Michele) Schultze.   Special grandfather to Emily, Amanda (Roger), Rachael, and Robbie.  Brother of Judith (Robert) Hilinski, the late Charles (surviving Sharon) Roginski. Uncle of Mark, Beth, Mark, and Lauren. Bob was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, a member of the Verona Eagles, and the Plum American Legion.

Bob loved his sports, especially the University of Pittsburgh, the Steelers, and Pirates.  He loved to hunt, fish, garden, travel, going on many cruises, and loved spending time with his grandchildren.  He was a proud Navy Veteran, volunteering and giving his time to the Veterans.

Friends and family will be received from 2 - 8 p.m. on Friday January 12, 2024, at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC. 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont, PA 15139.  A funeral service will be held on Saturday January 13 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home.  Interment to follow at Lakewood Memorial Gardens.
