Obituary

Ronald E. Bolind, Jr. age 64 of Imperial passed away peacefully at home on Thursday June 5, 2025.  He is preceded in death by his parents Judith K. (Beitsinger) and Ronald "Gene" E. Bolind, Sr. and his birth mother, Nancy Gittens Bolind. His grandparents Hillard "Runt" and Caroline Beitsinger and Ted and Ellen Bolind, as well as his Gittens' grandparents, but he was especially close with his aunt and uncle, Charles and Dolores (Dee) Hughes.

Ron is survived by siblings Scott Bolind, Chris (Mary Ann) Bolind, and Kerry (Jamie Mentley) Branton, nephews Jesse and Dylan Bolind, Caleb and Cory Branton, niece Kirsten Branton and adored by many aunts, uncles, and cousins from the Bolind, Beitsinger, and Gittens' families. Including his dear friend, Linda Butya, who appropriately called him the "Clinton and Imperial Historian". He was loved by many dear friends; there are too many to name.

Ron graduated from West Allegheny High School in 1978.  He worked throughout the years as a mechanic, a cook for Traveler's Paradise, a bus driver for Robert McCullough, and driving mail trucks. He worked many years in customer service at Kmart, Wal-Mart, and ended his career with Advance Auto Parts. In his younger years, he proudly served as Lieutenant at the Imperial Volunteer Fire Department. Ron was a member of Clinton United Presbyterian Church and was recently attending Valley Presbyterian Church in Imperial. He was an avid patron of Chuck's Bar, which brought him great joy.

Ron will be remembered for his constant, wonderful, beaming smile on his face and making everyone laugh. He had the best laugh! It gave him great joy to keep in touch with friends and family. Ron was well-loved and regarded highly by the community he lived and served in. He will be greatly missed. We love you Ronnie, Rest in Peace.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Clinton United Presbyterian Church, Saturday, June 14th at 1:00 pm, officiated by Pastor Cindy (Wilson) McClung.
