Ronald "Fred" McClure

Ronald "Fred" McClure, age 77 of Glen Hazel passed peacefully on Tuesday March 3, 2026. 

He was born on July, 23, 1948, a son of the late Mary Jane (Heaton) and John McClure. Brother to Edward Dwight (Etta) McClure, of Moreno Valley, Calif., and Carol Wagner (Joseph) deceased, of Coraopolis. Preceded in death by his brothers Everett Roy Heaton and John William McClure. Also survived by his nephews; Barry Misko and Edward Heaton, and nieces; Mary K. Matelski, Shannon Baker, Heather Wilson and Mary Ann McClure.

Fred was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and loved rooting for the Penguins. He was a hard worker and was a dishwasher for many years taking the bus to and from work. He loved the city of Pittsburgh and lived there his entire life.

Fred will be buried in Lloyd Cemetery in Ebensburg, PA near his Mom, Dad and beloved Grandmother, Lucy May Heaton.

The family extends their gratitude to all the agencies who helped in Fred's care over the last several years.
