Rose Marie (Mooney) Melle, age 86 of Verona, passed away peacefully on Tuesday morning March 11, 2025.

She is the daughter of the late George and Rose (Panion) Mooney.  She was preceded in death by her husband Chip Melle and daughter Jill Klinko. Loving mother of Ronald (Madonna) Melle and Lynn (Donald) Kendrick. Grandmother of Katherine, Richard, Katie, and Jacob. Great-grandmother of four. Sister of George (Alberta) Mooney.  Aunt of Marrianne Melle, Amy Phillips, and Rob Mooney.

Rose loved her hometown and could often be seen sporting the purple and gold of Verona.  She spent years as a crossing guard and recalled many stories of her time with her children.  She enjoyed spending time with her husband Chip and their family.  She will be missed by many.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at the Verona Eagles from 12 to 4 PM.
