Ruth L. Leinhos, age 79 passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning, October 4, 2023.

She was the daughter of the late Johanna (Schafer) and Kenneth Hawker, Sr.  Beloved wife of the late David Leinhos.  Loving sister of Kenneth (Carol) Hawker, Jr. and David (Margaret) Hawker.  Aunt of six and great aunt of nine.

Ruth was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church of Oakmont.  She was an Elementary school teacher and librarian in the Plum School District for many years.  In her free time she volunteered delivering meals on wheels to those in need.

Friends and relatives will be received at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC. 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont, PA 15139 on Friday October 6 from 11-12 where a Lutheran service will be held at 12 noon in the funeral home.  Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Gardens.
