Carol L. Sandusky, 62, of Cheswick, passed away Thursday, Feb. 3, 2022. Born Oct. 31, 1959, in Pittsburgh, she is the beloved daughter of Nancy (Johnston) Bloom and the late Charles Bloom; beloved wife for 41 years of Lindsay T. Sandusky; loving mother of Lindsay C. (Kelly) Sandusky, of Irwin, Heather (Justin) Gutt, of Kennedy Township, and Joshua Sandusky of Cheswick; grandmother of Parker, C.J., and Connor; sister of David (Laura) Bloom, of Iowa. Carol was a member of Rock of Ages Church, enjoyed horseback riding and playing the piano. She was employed as a nurse for over 30 years, working at Shadyside, St. Francis, and St. Margaret's hospitals. She loved working as a nurse and spending time with her family. Friends and relatives will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 6, 2022, at BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES INC., 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont, PA 15139.
