On Saturday, May 6, 2023 at the age of 87, Mary Patricia Sapsara passed away. She was a beloved wife, sister friend, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was also loved like a mother by many nieces and nephews.
A graduate of Sto-Rox high school, she enjoyed being a wife and mother for many years. Her dear friend Gerry secured employment for her friend "Taffy" at CCAC Boyce where she thrived and touched the lives of many people. She was a consummate dog/cat mom, and enjoyed her favorite soap opera, gardening, and celebrations with family and friends. She traveled to Hawaii three times! She sowed love wherever she went, and it flowed back to her many times over.

She leaves behind her loving husband Paul of 64 years. She is survived by her children Sandra (Jeff), Sharon (Paul), and Paul (Susanna). She especially cherished being NaNa to her grandchildren Joseph, Cloey and Emory. She and Paul were blessed to share together their great-grandchild Gabriel. She was preceded in death by her sister Joanne and her parents James and Edna.
A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday May 10 at 12 noon at the Christ the Divine Shepherd Parish (St. Susanna Church), 200 Stotler Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15235. Interment will follow at Good Shepherd Cemetery, Monroeville. Arrangements entrusted to the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC. Oakmont. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to the Animal Rescue of Hamilton Avenue.
