Sarah "Sally" J. Baird, age 88 of Penn Hills passed away peacefully on Monday morning March 24, 2025, surrounded by her family at U.P.M.C Shadyside.  She was the daughter of the late Hope and George Beatty.  Beloved wife of the late Charles G. Baird. Loving mother of Beverly Baird, Charles (Sally) Baird, Robert (Janet) Baird, William "Bill" (Amy) Baird, and Diane Baird. Nana of 9 and great-grandmother of 10.  Sister of the late Mert (surviving Terrie) Beatty.

Sally enjoyed spending time at her summer home in Chautauqua Lake, NY with her husband and family and extended friends and family there.  She was an active member in the Unity Community Church, donating her time and loved to cook for the congregation, fundraisers, and funeral wakes.  She will be remembered for her passion and love for her family.

Friends and family will be received on Wednesday March 26, 2025, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont, PA 15139.

A funeral service will be held Thursday March 27, 2025, 10 a.m. at Unity Community Church, 215 Unity Center Rd. Pgh., PA 15239.  Everyone please meet at the church.  Burial will follow at Plum Creek Cemetery next to her husband Charles.
